If I'm not mistaken, that's a 1968-1971 300 SEL 6.3. Probably my favorite Mercedes of all time.

It’s far more likely to be a 280se. Unless you know how to tell engine size from this angle. I’m not that pro ;)

My dad had a 60-something 280 with the cone-shaped turn indicators when I was a kid. It was classy as hell, but broke. A lot. The hood ornament was fun to play with.
